Vegas Baby!

Well, we're back from Vegas after a great time at the WebmasterWorld's Search Conference. Hmmm....how many days does it take to recover from the Yahoo! Search Casino Night party at Rain? Apparently too many for this 30+ year old. ;)

But it was all worth it... we were hoping to meet many of you face-to-face, start the dialogue flowing and solicit feedback/suggestions, and although there were close to 1500 attendees, it still felt like we met many of you. Barry was a trooper (headcold and all), Chris was hysterical as were the crew from Australia and San Diego. We enjoyed meeting Noel, Nick of www.threadwatch.org and Todd. BIG thanks to Brandy and Daron at WebmasterRadio.fm for throwing the party with us (and congrats on the official launch)! Last but certainly not least, many thanks to the man behind the show, Brett, for bringing us all together!

For those of you unable to make it to the conference, here are links to the Yahoo! presentations:

And some links to more pictures from the party:

I hear the next WMW Pub Con is in New Orleans... I'll be sure to sleep plenty before hitting the Big Easy with this crowd!

That was THE best party of any conference EVER. Kudos to you guys for throwing it and man, I can't stop listening to webmasterradio.fm - you guys picked a great person to hook up with in them. Hope to see it again at another conference!

:P Good times, good friends. :P Amd webmasterradio is addicting :)

Nick

That webmasterradio.fm party was AWESOME! Best event at a WW show that I've ever been to. The whole things was great.

and BTW, I found out that people at my office in Fort Lauderdale had been listening to the live feed from the party ....very cool :-)

Words can not express our gratitude to Yahoo! Search and their staff for believing in us and helping to breath life into a project which is our lifes passion, WebmasterRadio.FM.

Yahoo! Search is all about supporting the webmaster community and their support was more than evident at the event held this past Wednesday evening during the WebmasterWorld conference in Las Vegas!

Nancy....you over deliver in every way!
Tim....you are a trailblazer!
Jeremy....it was great meeting you! We are looking forward to getting to know you better.....

WebmasterRadio.FM is honored to have Tim and Jeremy host their own radio show starting January 2005.

Brett....thanks for the kick in the ***

Happy and Healthy ThanksGiving Everyone!

It was an honor to meet you folks over at Yahoo! and Overture.

I would like to thank Aaron Ferstman, the behind the scenes man who did an excellent job with the Yahoo! folks, keeping them in line and all. Don't think I didn't notice how you prep them and then 'psyched' the speakers up before they went to the podium. It was a privilege meeting you and having non-search related discussions. And for those that didn't know, I caught Aaron sitting outside the party with others doing business, while all of us were having fun inside the club.

Tim, what can I say. Your an outstanding individual. Fun, honest, and a loving family man. Thanks for the after session time with you, Nancy (who works way to hard on this blog) and Aaron. Of course it was an honor meeting the blog king, Jeremy. It was great to get to know you and the Yahoo! folks.

I am sure I will catch you all at the Chicago show.

Seeing spammers and the anti-spammers drinking, joking, laughing and gambling together was so special.

Respectfully...

Hey Folks,

I'm still kinda thinking..."Wow!"

Brandy and I were very honored to work with the Yahoo! Search Team to try and create a unique, lasting impression on webmasters!

That's a tough thing to do.

I've heard the most rave of reviews and even the fact that someone who's religion keeps them from being able to gamble...to participate in something that he normally would never get to do...as it wasn't really gambling. It was fun!

Personally, I've been to many, many...search conferences, tech conferences, etc. May I say, this was the best Party I've ever been to.

Granted, I'm a bit jaded as working with the you folks at Yahoo! to put this together in such a short amount of time...gave me a new respect for the effort you guys were willing to go to...to make such a splash at this show. A real eye-raiser to webmasters.

As for myself..I too look forward to what Tim and Jeremy will bring to the air on WebmasterRadio.

Our first week had steller turn-out for Affiliate Marketing, PR, SEO and even our first entertainment show.

This is a concept long overdue and we appreciate the tremendous support from Yahoo! Search, Tim and Nancy.

What can I say, you guys rock to work with!

Thank you for the presentations.

This was a phenomenal party. Yahoo & Overture did a great job of setting up an environment where webmasters could not only smooze with some very high powered execs, but they could have a lot of fun with free gambling tables.

Kudos to Y & O for a great time.

I was quite suprised at the time and expense Yahoo put forth to ensure we all had a good time.

Thanks, Yahoo for a very enjoyable evening.

Hey

I agree with what you're saying. Thanks for sharing the info with us.

Vegas, Baby Do you have a cell phone?" asked Bert, the whacked-out cabbie."Yeah, but it's in my bags in your trunk," I explained half-sympathetically, thinking he may have badly needed to make a call and was going to ask to borrow it."Good," he replied cordially. That was my first clue that Bert was whacked-out. My next clue came when we passed a cop car parked by the side of the road. He was moved to get on his cabbie radio and announce the presence of "The Gestapo" to all the other cabbies that might be passing by.

Had a great time at RAIN
I am still recovering
