One of the most anticipated movies of the year will premier tomorrow across the country: Disney’s TRON: Legacy. The high tech adventure film is also serving as the perfect example to showcase the new, rich search experiences that only Yahoo! can deliver for movie searches. We’ve partnered with Disney to create a dynamic, “Tron-ized” advertisement to demonstrate how searches on Yahoo! comes to life for specific movie queries like TRON: Legacy.
As you can see in the video, Yahoo! Search is bringing together more than just links-we’re providing a unique combination of showtimes, trailers, rating and reviews, videos, and more…giving you the full picture right at the top of the page.
This video is part of an online advertising campaign designed to show our new features and allow consumers to experience them for themselves. Take a look at the spot and let us know what you think.
If you’d like to learn more about our new features and examples of how they come to life, check out the video below.
Thanks for stopping by. We would love to hear from you.

Come on Yahoo, you had a 30 second video with special effects, but did you actually tell us anything truthful?
Surround sound of searches? What does that actually mean?
Please understand, you will gain 0 customers on your search platform if you tell them nothing frequently. Empower us, teach us, include us when you try new things. You bring out a new feature, show us, but more importantly, ask us what we think. You do all of this for us after all. Make us feel like we are being heard and this is OUR Yahoo.
Technology has come a long way. I wonder what will be the next big thing?
Cool ad! Yahoo Search, now with frickin laser beams.
I don’t know. I think Yahoo is doing alright. They are under rated and vastly overshadowed by Google.
I always like Yahoo, it is not cold like others!.. They always put a brick!
I like it. I like that they used Tron too!
The video below shows more detail, too.

I 100% satisfy with keiran. Yahoo never take review from user or any suggestion. Ofcourse yahoo team has good programmer. But you can’t close eyes. In billions of people, thousands of programmer & developer. Google always taking review even they no1. See bottom of their page. Every new launch, review by user is gurantee for future sucess. E.g. Google new mobile search launch for 7 days in sep 2010. There 8 positive review. Due to large size of index, i write -ve review with reason. And they again comeback to old mobile search. Yahoo must be think about this. I done comment on yahoo search in 2008. Still same search with lots of mistake.
