I really can not believe I woke up one morning to find a so called 'option' inside my yahoo email.
I simply trusted yahoo (after 20 years use) to have taken care of some privacy issues prior to launching and again without any choice in the matter. If I wanted Face-book (who have better filters NOW) I would have an account with them. I DO NOT LIKE or APPRECIATE that my business contacts within my contact list are privy to my social life, I DO NOT LIKE or APPRECIATE that my social connections are privy to my Business contacts! Have you lost your minds?????
Fortunately I live a clean life...can you imagine the uproar when a wife finds a shady contact of her husbands; OR one company finds out your also dealing with a competitor OR a contact but not a close one is privy to much too many details of ones PERSONAL life.
The back lash from this is going to knock Yahoo on its ass. I have had to open a Gmail account just to transfer my business contacts so they are separate from my social ones. Even with all the so called filters (which there are nearly not enough of) it is invasive due the OPENNESS of this new feature. I see no way out but to spend countless hours setting up new accounts and transferring all my saved email, business folders etc to different accounts...and yes I switched back to the normal face within Yahoo but it still gives to many options to my contacts, and I to theirs. In other words once you try the new New Yahoo there is no going back...completely. Your company should be ashamed of their lack of foresight.

Despise...despise...despise the new homepage. With a passion. I see all over the web that I am not alone in this. I've now completely abandoned Yahoo for search purposes, news, weather, shopping, everything that I once used it for, for many years.

I now have my homepage set to Google and use it for everything, just to avoid even having to LOOK at the new homepage, that is how much I hate it. I've got my mail set to bookmarks, to avoid going to the homepage and will soon be switching to Gmail now that I have absolutely no use for Yahoo.

A toggle feature for those of us who were quite happy with Yahoo would have been nice. Way to completely ruin a longtime, positive experience with Yahoo and send old-time loyal consumers to a new site!

Liking the new Yahoo search. I've tried the image search and find the results a lot more category precise. At last yahoo should be able to take on the Google.

Nice work !!

Just don't get rid of the yahoo classic page option. Its not broken so don't fix it with that mess of a new page and force everyone to go elsewhere. The classic page is fine the way it is.
