Michael had a gift from God to entertain us and make us feel good. I can’t remember one song that I didn’t a least pop a finger to. His contributions to the world are too great to mention. I think of him as a little brother and I wish that I had met him as an adult and given him a hug. He appeared at the Regal Theatre in about April 1968 when I thought I was going to see a superb group called the Five Stairsteps that originated in Chicago. They were awesome but I remember seeing this little boy singing “I’m a Big Boy Now” while his brothers played back up. Little did I know that I was witnessing someone who would go on to be a phenomena. I loved his brothers too and was sort of put out when the industry separated him from his brothers and acted as though they had no talent. People should not do that to families. Those type of decisions should be made by families and in some ways I believe that was the beginning of Michael’s demise. He had no one out there to compete with because he was the consummate performer.

Michael had staying power too. How many of the artists of today do you think will last 42 years in the business? They make their millions and run and Michael was always busy recreating himself and he was genius at it. I’ve said it before and I guess it’s getting tired but it’s true: the world is a little darker, a little less lively without him. Out of all of his works, he never madee a song that demeaned a female. Billy Jean was more cute than riske. Yes, he will be missed and while I love him, I truly wish that he would have passed the children on to Janet because Janet seems to be a very solid sister and successful. I used to love to hear her talk about Michael. I love them all, but particularly her and Jermaine. Janet is still relatively young and I do believe that she loves those kids and would be excellent to rear them. Katherine would need help with this anyway. I also hope that there is no family infighting with regards to the money that the outside vultures will try to pick dry. I just hope that my sweet Michael will be able to rest in peace at last. The world had become too hard on him and I hope people realize that there is a hereafter. His body is gone but his soul is still intuned with what’s going on. RIP Michale

The music was great – in the 80’s and some songs are a little timeless, but there are better artists our there that have passed away in my opinion.
