There should be a search update for the first days of August since there are a lot of sites that have been deleted, are still appearing. Or the yahoo spider should update its search cache. Thanks to the yahoo team.

Pweh! Took me a while to find somewhere to discuss this...

My site (ranked around #5 on my most important keyword for about 8 years) dropped from the rankings completely somewhere between March 22-30. Just checked, around 19k pages still indexed, with about the same amount of inlinks.

Could this be due to this update?

A lot of my site's pages no longer seem to be indexed by Yahoo Search (this changed recently). A pity really. Google seems to be doing fine with our content, I hope whatever fixes/improvements get rolled out in the future will remedy this.

I have noticed this on a regular basis, so I thought I'd bring this to your attention. Why is it that Google provides relevant links to Yahoo pages (esp. Yahoo Answers) in search results but Yahoo Search doesn't? For instance, I searched for "free iso extractor" in both Yahoo and Google and got a Yahoo! Answers result via Google but not Yahoo.

Yahoo! Answers is one of the best examples of user-generated content out there. It's a shame that Yahoo! Search doesn't index and effectively prioritize this content.

I agree with Sam, we are too a extremely strong site within our vertical and have been taken in the past by this algorithm. Hopefully these updates will change this.

I WANT yahoo to quit grabbing control of all my attachements in E mail. I can't even read a simple attached letter because when I click on the attachement in E-mail it opens a Yahoo Page.

Just quit doing that. I'm an Email user, not y'r slave. Disconnect that feature. it's useless, annoying, get's in y way and makes me nostalgic for AOLKin-every-thing -- which to get away from, is why I went to Ya-you.

I disconnected everything I canfind to disconnect from Yahoo and you still are controlling my choices. Stop it, This is not Kindergarten.

My large, quality site has been HAMMERED in the Y results... Most pages have fallen of the radar, some completely.

This site is an authority in it's vertical. Tell me there's some sort of dance going on...
