I'd also like to learn more about it... Is it possible to compare the relevance of a html site with a flash site?

It would be desirable to learn more in detail about a practical technique of application of all of it.

well if they can search flash files that will make a big difference for flash heavy sites. it has always been difficult to balance a visually stunning site with search engine compatability but this will be one step in that direction. we will see I guess.

I'm guessing the main reason they haven't posted anything about the SWF indexing thing is that they're not ready to roll it out, yet. In the Adobe press release it said Yahoo is working on it for release at a future date. I'm guessing this update is just a "regular" update, and I'm sure they'll let us know when it happens. If you do have a date when that will happen, I'd be interested to hear as well.

Now that Yahoo will be able to search (SWF) Adobe Flash files - will this technology be reflected in your new update (as of July 1st) .....

Surprised you haven't done a post about it yet - it will be interesting to see how this will ultimately effect the rankings of heavily flash designed sites
