The Delicious team has been working on a new beta add-on for the also-still-in-beta Firefox 3 to give users easier and quicker access to information. While maintaining full compatibility with the previous add-on for Firefox 2, the latest version offers a few new features, which they’ve detailed in their post.

Delicious FF

Give it a try and if you want to share your experience, thoughts, or have questions, visit the delicious-firefox-extension group that is focused exclusively on the Firefox add-ons.

Why doesn’t Delicious and StumbleUpon partner

A Mashup between those two would be awesome for the next update

this is good news. Regarding a partnership between Delicious and StumbleUpon…how would that work?

sorry if this is ‘off topic’ but I found a question someone called Justin posted on this blog in 2006 which I am desperate to know the answer to, also.

Justin’s question was never answered and comments on that thread are now closed.

I like Yahoo toolbar but find the Yahoo search in the address bar function damn annoying and none of the solutions like deleting files from firefox/searchplugins seem to work for firefox 2.0

Alright, maybe some people love it, but personally I find it an unbelieveable pain and imposition.

If I wanted an address bar search function Google indexes far, far more pages, but as it happens I don’t. when I enter an address in my firefox address bar I want the browser to go to that address, not direct me to a yahoo search page with invariably no results. How do I remove the damn address bar function? It’s a damn liberty and imposition that there is no obvious option in firefox to do that. It makes what is an excellent browser virtually unusable for me, as I’m often pasting web addresses into the address bar.

Yahoo! seems to win the new Social Media War. All of its applications are simply wonderful and winning…

FF is just the best browser, for me as a developer. I have testet Google chrome beta and IE8 beta as well, but except of a few improvements in chrome, that will certainly be available as an add on for FF soon, FF is still the best.
