A Search Box that Fits

Since launching Yahoo! Search Builder back in August we’ve received a lot of great feedback and have been working to address the issues nearest and dearest to our users. We’ve noticed a lot of talk around the width of the search box being too wide and not easily fitting into the sidebar of most blogging platforms. Today, we’re happy to introduce the new ‘super-narrow’ search box option that, with 192 pixels, should fit nicely into most two column blog templates, e.g. the K2 template for WordPress.
We’re also making some enhancements to the Search Builder home page to include a new design and an added section entitled ‘Featured Search Builder Sites’ that will highlight cool sites and clever implementations of Yahoo! Search Builder. Here’s a sneak peak with the Breeder Retriever and Sanderson Headers ‘ who doesn’t love dogs and cars??

Thanks! Do you intend to offer the search box and the results page in other languages like German?
This is really good with lot of features. i would like to try this

With those same hands, make the searh box optional in Yahoo toolbar. at least for Ie7
I dont see a point to have a search box at top rt corner in ie7 default-or dropdown, AND a yahoo serach box again in the yahoo toolbar.
While all the other links can be removed in Yahoo toolbar, the search box isnt.. IT still occupies a lot of space..
Search box plugin looks great on WordPress. Just saw this Digged article on Ads – he mentions about Ads based on WordPress tags..Yahoo might want to take advantage on that ;)

The search builder is great. I built it. It worked. But there was a blank screen when I wanted to “get the code” to paste to my web site.
I still like the search box of IE 6 better…
The search builder still have some flaws, it must be corrected before fully published.

We need search boxes in several different languages as well…
Thanks for another great feature by Yahoo! I too agree that search box in different languages would be another great improvement.
I think your on the right track as space is always at a premium.
