If YDS is free and its entirely from X1 and now even X1 is free - why should I use YahooDS? Moreover X1 has been always a very professional software and has been for quite a long time even before Yahoo thought of DS. It has more features than YDS too. I would rather use X1. Perhaps creating something like a desktop sidebar will be a good start <a href="http://www.desktopsidebar.com/" rel="nofollow">http://www.desktopsidebar.com/</a> And making users more aware of new Konfabulator widgets update, will be cool too Yahoo Desktop Search is a good initiative to integrate the windows desktop but so much more can be done.

For a while there, I was beginning to wonder if it had been abandoned. Hopefully this release incorporates a number of fixes that have plagued the beta versions.
