I've made a Greasemonkey script to clean up the search.yahoo.com front page, and I thought I'd let you know what it removes:

- the grey bar at the top of the page
- the "Try My Web BETA" ad
- the "[Show Mail - Show News]" stuff

Color and size search filtering is very nice, and the popular searches is good too!

I know it's hot here but why are so many people doing image searches for electric fan! :-)

The switching on/off of the popular searches box really should be handled using CSS/JScript rather than re-loading the page.

All it needs is two DIVs and a JScript function to hide/show the DIVs.
