Obviously all these comments are written by jealous competitiors (like Linux users belittled the wonderful WIndows Me operating system). Yahoo does not provide any method of complaining directly about their site is because they know that they would be receiving only compliments because they are so wonderful.

I signed up for Yahoo unlimted music for a year and guess what? Everytime I try to login "error 999". there is no way to get around this since you are basically signing in thru the yahoo music engine. I'm out of my cash and no music access. Needless to say there is no... I repeat NO customer support to speak of, I am also a SBC customer and I got the whole run around from them. This is the most dissapointed I've been with a company. They take your money and don't provide you with a service. I'm going back to iTunes.

Biggest mistake of my life = signing up for yahoo music plus! with musicmatch. The musicmatch program encountered frequent errors because it should still be in testing so I uninstalled the old version of musicmatch and reinstalled the new one. Now I can’t log onto my account anymore using any version of musicmatch. No problem I’ll just contact yahoo and they’ll fix the problem. WRONG! Never have I dealt with such an inept bunch of idiots. For the past month I sent them messages pleading with them to restore the service that I paid for but to no avail. Get this: they just message me back every time and tell me to download the latest version of music match and enter in my name and password. HEY IDIOTS! THIS IS MY PROBLEM! I would just cancel my service but I signed up for a year (stupid I know). Long story short Yahoo sucks. I will never give them a dime of my money again.

It seems, so far, I'm the only one who's getting the 999 error when trying to access Yahoo games...but is a huge frustration. I have tried everything and nothing helps. Looks like we have to suck it up. *&^%$#@! Yahoo!

Well it finally happened, I was stupid and got my password stolen. I've been a member of yahoo since 1998 with the same ID and lost that account tonight. All the help forums in the world are not going to get that account back. It seems that I cannot remember which zip code I used when I created the account 7+ years ago. Considering I have moved 5 times in the past 7 years it is no wonder. It also seems that I do not have an alternate email associated with my account. Strange, I seem to remember creating one, but then again that was so long ago who would remember? The only constant I have is my birthdate and Yahoo! in it's infinite wisdom has deemed that is not good enough to ID me. If there is anyone out there with a suggestion to get that account back I would be more than happy to listen. PLEASE help me !!!
