I'm having trouble receiving incoming mail on the yahoo POP server. All the settings are correct, and I've logged out of all other yahoo sites already, but it's still not working. It logs in and sends mail but won't receive. Any ideas? It was working yesterday morning no problem. When I check mail on the internet there's no problem either. My other pop mail accounts are all fine. I'm worried I may have been logged in on POP and the internet at the same time? Please advise how I can fix this problem as I have emailed customer service many times without reply...

Hi, I've been a Yahoo mail account holder for 10+ years. I've been happy with the service so far, and even clicked thru ads in return for the good service.

In the last week, however, everything has fallen apart. I haven't received an e-mail (to my inbox or even my bulk e-mail) in over a week, and have sent four progressively angrier messages to Yahoo mail Customer Care - without a SINGLE response. I sent a test message to myself, and was told that my address eric-senunas@yahoo.com is not a valid account. I have no idea why - I never received any notice from Yahoo about problems with my account or Yahoo's service. I'm totally in the dark.

I've begun using Gmail, but I really don't want to abandon Yahoo! However, I can't go on without receiving e-mail. I've begun changing all my addresses, and if I change them all before I even receive a response from Yahoo, I'll never go back (and I'll make sure EVERYONE (1100+ addresses) knows why).

Can someone please contact the incompetents at Customer Service and let them know they're about to lose one of their longest-standing customers? I can't tell you how disappointed (and furious) I am with the level of service Yahoo mail is now providing. I guess you get what you pay for - but it doesn't feel that way with the folks at Google.

Hi,
I checked my mail this morning in a computer that couldn't support the current version of Yahoo mail.I was asked to revert to an old version so i did but wherever computer I check my email now, it still looks the same way. Would anyone know how to revert to the new version again? I cannot even compose emails. Please let me know if you have any solutions to this. Thanks! All help will be appreciated.

WHAT is going on with the SEND? I have tried to send emails from 3 different computers (two running XP and Mozilla, one running 98 plus and Mozilla). I can't send any Yahoo email. I can't get a response from "customer service". A friend of mine is having the same trouble. What gives? Should I just ditch this account?

i have a same problem like johnny.
this problem started on 14th nov'05.
"Pocket PC Yahoo mail trouble. it seems that yahoo changed is mail page. On my Pocket PC running on pocket IE, it no longers asks me to select IE6 or NS7.1 or my Switch back to the Yahoo! version supported by your current browser.

It now just launches into the new mail page and now the buttons for search yahoo, search mail, reply compose, spam, delete, forward don't work. There's nothing there but the text picture."

How do I go back to having a "upgrade browser" mail page?
thanks.

Love The Yahoo Mail Plus, Just signed on for another year. Great for sending large photo files
besides the standard e-mails. Here's my problem...I have a work station and a home server.
Several days ago I tried to attach a file to the Yahoo mail, from the server, while on my work station. It would not attach. A message popped up stating " File Specified Invalid" tried it with different files, MS word, j-peg files and EPS, PDF several others. No luck.
Since I'm on my work station I might a well test it with a file from the this computer I'm on.
Well sure enough, SUCCESS!. It attached the file just like old times. But the server is where I store most of my info that needs to be sent.
Also checked it out directly from the Server. Yahoo Mail Plus..that also works. But I really don't want to switch back and forth using the serveras my E-mail terminal. I've been attaching the server files from the workstation before.
Any suggestions? Could use some help. Im using windows XP SP 2

Thanks
charlie

I FOUND A WAY TO FIX THE MISSING "COMPOSE" BOX. In fact someone in here was sugesting to take the next steps to fix it. AND IT WORKED, anyone can do it. Do the following:

"In Mail Options, select "general preferences"
then in "compose" select " plain text" "

THANK YOU TO THE PERSON WHO POSTED THIS. IT WORKED.
