Great I really wanted this possibility to search images from my imode cellphone. Also the idea of a mobile dictionnary search really is useful as well…As study English, I often want to check the meaning of a word when I’m not at home…it’s a really good thing
I want to see someone type in “extemporaneous” on a non-T9 keypad.
mobile dictionary will be great for racking up scrabble points!

I’ve been using Yahoo’s WAP deck for years on my Moto i50sx on Nextel – but I don’t see that anything’s changed lately. I have no search link, so I tried entering http://search.yahoo.com into the wap browser and it redirected me to http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/raw/dp=yms
which displayed “This page was not found”. Hope you get it working soon, I’d love to see a decent WAP search engine
Thanks for all the great comments, observations and feedback. On the couple of questions we have seen posted — We initially launched with AT&T Wireless, Cingular and Sprint, but will of course be looking to extend the service across more carriers including Verizon and Nextel. While I can’t give you any details I can say that we’re not going to stop here!

Also check out 4INFO (44636). Uses text messaging to deliver results with every carrier. Can find out a lot of the same things, but don’t have to wait forever for the WAP page.
Do you plan to add mobile web (wap) search option? I mean only search in wap sites not web.
Google already has it for years (http://wap.google.com) and now they upgraded the system and added mobile web search option to xhtml (wap 2.0) site http://google.com/xhtml
but I am in another country and do not know the USA zip code. How do I search from wireless mobile cell-phone? -from Roboo Meshfire, 2005.
Using the Yahoo email feature on my
Nextel i1000+ phone, I get an error message
when sending new or replying to
received emails stating “Message cannot
be sent. Check recipient email address”.
This happens 100% of the time when
sending or replying to an email via the
Yahoo function on my Nextel phone.
I did work fine a few months back.
It does receive emails fine. All other
Yahoo functions work on the phone.
Sending emails does work properly using
Hotmail and the phone, but I need Yahoo to work for the majority of my emails.
Multiple emails and conversations with Nextel state it is a Yahoo problem.
10 emails (2 acknowledged) and 2 faxes to Yahoo about the problem over a 3 month period of time, and it still does not work.
Almost ready to become a Hotmail fan!!

I suddenly cannot send email by logging into my yahoo acct using a sprint treo 650. I simply get that mssg cannot be sent. we tried our other yahoo acct on the trea – and same thing – can read emails but not send. Any ideas what the problem is?
N91 – Mobile Messenger Not Working.
I have a new N91 running symbian 3rd Edition, and am having problems using Mobile messenger. All the other pages on yahoo seem to be working fine, i can access my mail, and Y!search all with no problems. Everytime i go to messenger, (signed in or out) it just comes up with a blank page, and thats it.
please can someone help or let me know that this is not working, etc.

Yahoo messenger is not working on my N70. I have airtel connection. Mail and other stuff is working fine. Can someone tell me what wrong? Has anybody faced this problem.
