got a q for you: compared to your experiences at apple (under herot?), how do you think about UI in the face of advertising’s physical burden on visual design elements – versus the freedom one might enjoy when only dealing with the application and end user interactions (not like that’s easier, but far less visual clutter)

what i mean is, how far down the road are you looking – are you always able to get your arms around the ‘nature’ of visual advertising as it will interfere with or effect user interaction and does this influence your design goals, and drive a change in UI planning that gets all the way to the lower levels of the application? am i rambling? yeah…i am ;)

Yahoo Search pages seem much more complex than the spartan Google interface. Why is this the case?

you shall add date of cached page in search results….(or when u click on “cached” link)
